Uniform Change To Nike Posted 5/24/2010
Three Rivers Soccer Club decided to change the manufacturer of our uniforms to Nike. The Board talked quite a bit about this and took many things in to consideration. We had difficulty getting all of our orders last year from the manufacturer, not the supplier. The supplier, Soccer Etc. was extremely responsive and worked hard with us in getting many issues resolved. We had some problems with the new uniform styles and some runs in the fabric, which Soccer Etc. replaced. We had difficulty getting uniforms mid- year because the manufacturer did not have any product. We obtained quotes from several other manufacturers and talked with the supplier and other clubs regarding availability and responsiveness of the manufacturer. It looked like Nike was the way to go based on cost, responsiveness and availability. We have told all teams that purchased new uniforms last year that they do not have to switch over to Nike this year so parents will not be obligated to purchase uniforms two years in a row. All teams will have to switch to Nike next year. It is always difficult to make a switch like this but we thought in the long run it would be better for the club as a whole. The uniform order form is on the website with the prices listed. All teams should be working through their individual uniform coordinator so one form for each team is sent in to the supplier. Alma Arroyo has graciously agreed to be the uniform coordinator for the club and she is available to answer questions and assist teams at alma.arroyo51@yahoo.com. Please do not contact the supplier directly unless instructed to by Alma. Thank you all for your dedication to our teams and players and we look forward to a great year on the pitch.

"If you have any questions regarding the ordering of uniforms, please direct them to the Three Rivers Soccer Club Coordinator, Alma Arroyo at alma.arroyo51@yahoo.com. Do not direct your questions to Soccer Etc. I will also be glad to answer questions if you need any further clarification. The email listed on the site for Soccer Etc. is for the sole purpose of sending in the Excel Spreadsheet orders for uniforms. We are trying to obtain more samples for both the uniforms and the sweats and the supplier should have them from Nike in the near future and they will be provided to Alma and we will set up days for teams to try them on if they were unable to do this last weekend. Please do not contact Soccer Etc. directly with questions. Thank you for your patience, Chris Mertens, President. chris3rsc@gmail.com"
What: "Team uniform try-on and order night"
When: We will have samples of uniforms and youth sizes of sweats available for try ons for teams. The first session will be this Saturday at 5:00 and go through 6:30 pm at the TCYSA building next to the office. (long after the USA wins!). The second session will be on Tuesday June 29 from 6:00 to 7:30 at the TCYSA conference room. If you have already submitted your order, you may still attend these sessions and send in a "revised order" as long as you complete it and send it in by June 30. If the teams wish to, they can wait to order sweats separately and should wait, until we have adult sizes available for try on. We hope to have those available by the end of July.
